It seems ‘Asal’ is going to be the lone release of Ajith for 2010. For sources close to him reveal the actor-sportsman is gearing up for the F2 European Challenge, a prestigious motor event which will go on till October.

“Ajith is currently spending his time in a gym as he wants to shed close to 20 kgs to actively participate in the race which starts later this month. Since he bid bye to motorsport six years ago, he is on a rigorous workout regime now to make himself fit for the game,” they say.

Saying Goutham Menon, the director of Ajith’s next film, will be ready with the script, locations and other preproduction works by that time, sources reveal the actor’s 50th movie, tentatively titled ‘Thuppariyum Anand’, will go on floors in either October or November.

“Only on Sunday Ajith, Goutham and producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri met and discussed the project, which will be on international standards. The film is going to be on-of-its-kind in Indian cinema and will take Tamil cinema to next level in terms of quality and technology,” sources add.
